THIS HOTEL IS NOT CALLED AVENTURA BEACH CLUB....ITS' A FAKE NAME!!!

This hotel was ridiculous. I could not even find it...and neither the taxi. I ended up walking in circles in the rain because the Hotel has a DIFFERENTTTT name called Carribean hotel in person. Their Website name is fake and does NOT exist. I was even charged and ELECTRICITY FEE which was ridiculous....who pays for the electricity at a hotel??? come on really?? Reception ladies when i checked in and when I checked out had some european attitude and not really comforting at all (they didn't give a crap)....in AMERICA and other countries they treat customers like kings!!!! Had I known this I would have checked into a REALLL hotel to not have a headache!

Worst hotel

I experienced a very bad experience here at aventura hotel. As soon as i walked in there was a very bad strong smell, walked into the room and pillows and blankets had mold. A/C did not work. We turned the shower on and insects came out the shower head. I would need a complete refund please. I took pictures and showed the reception the actual rooms.

This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It is very clean. So cute. It's a short walk from town in a beach area. I love going for walks so it was great for me. I loved the place. The taxi drivers will over charge you so please ask the host or lobby assistant for a contact. His contacts took care of me for my entire stay. It was a wonderful experience. I will definitely return. Thanks so much for everything!

Staff were very quick to respond to any questions I have.

Staff were very quick to respond to any questions I have. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and the check in/check out process was very simple. The location is ideal and the hotel amenities are better than expected. Wifi works well, as does the AC. If you're looking for a well-priced hotel-style room in the beach front area, you won't find better. It was my first time using this site and they made my experience great! Would 100% recommend them.

Amazing location

The pool was directly in front of the apartment I stayed in. I had two balconies, one you could see the pool and the other you can see the Street side. However, both views were beautiful ! The ocean is just steps away and the apartment is in a gated community with two security gates

sunny, nice beach, bad hosts.

The Location of the appartment was good and the appartment building and setting around were pretty nice. The way to the beach was short. The appartmentbuildings were in a nice park like garden.

More than half of the time we stayed in the appartment, we had no water, no electricity, no WiFi. We couldn't use the toilets, no shower, no planing the next steps of our vacation without wifi. The two Ladies at the receiption where not helpfull. they gave us the feeling that it is our fault to expect those things at their place. They told us, that it is because of our origin from Germany, we always expect perfect settings. My argument, that we paid $ 160 per night and that it is not to much to expected water to use the toilet, they answerd that other guest payed much more. So it was very unfriendly to talk to this ladies and after 3 days we left this place unhappy.

For us it was a stay before returning back home.

For us it was a stay before returning back home. After a long touring on the island this place was perfect for us. It was basically in the city center and all the cafes and markets are in reach, just walking distance. The location is right at the beach and next to beach bars. Perfect to relax and still in reach of parties and resaurants. If I can can, I would come again. Thank you, it was a pleasure.

The beach is ok.

the method of payment, THIS PEOPLE MADE A CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD, AND IN THE CHECK IN THEY PUT ME TO PAY ALL THE MONEY AGAIN IN CASH. WHEN I ASK ABOUT THE CREDIT CARC CHARGE, THEY EXPLAIN THAN I HAVE TO CANCEL MYSELF IN MY BANK. THIATS IS A FRAUD!!, NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR 30 DAYS FOR GET MY MONEY BACK, IF THE PROPERTY SAY YES TO MY BANK.

It’s right there by the beach, you can smell the sea from...

It’s right there by the beach, you can smell the sea from the room, loved that!! Maybe 6 steps from the beach! So if we needed to go to the bathroom or get a snack, we could just go to our room. Breakfast included was amazing, different options in the menu, included fruits bowl, breakfast, fresh natural juice and coffee just perfect! Staff was very helpful and spoke English and Spanish

The water to shower or clean is salty! Do not brush your teeth with that. We have to do it with cold potable water, and of course my hair and skin were very dry for the salty water.. shower was a little dirty, black spots, they cleaned the room twice and never clean it properly.

Unfriendly staff and unclear policies, made this an unpleasant stay.

The villa community is nice looking and quiet.

The office staff were cold, unfriendly and unhelpful. Plus you must read the fine print! As the reservation rate you think you are paying is not the correct amount. Once you get there they tell you that electricity is not included, nor is a damage deposit of $100 per bed. Also, if you have any problems they don’t care about fixing them. My tv did not work my entire stay, and they did nothing about it. Nor would they compensate me for the tv. As long as they have your money, they don’t care about your experience. They don’t care if you have a pleasant stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! You are much better off staying next door at Los Corales Beach and Spa!

We wave great experience!

We wave great experience! Our group was living in big spacy villa, we had our private garden and we had dining area in terrace with bbq grill. Villa had big kitchen that was very good for budget and cooking was also great part of our stay. Pool was nice but who comes to puntacana for pools? Most part of time we were lounging at the beach and we had our chaira and umbrellas that was also helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

We were living in a 2nd floor two bedroom villa overviewing...

We were living in a 2nd floor two bedroom villa overviewing Los Corales beach, a short (perhaps 50 m) walk away from the pool. Our trip extended over long weekend. We dined in all three restaurants in the immediate vicinity plus couple of restaurants that are about 10 min walking. There are two small grocery stores within five minutes away, that supplied us with most necessities, e.g. water and beverages. A larger mall is about 2.5 km away in the shopping center. One can get there by the free shuttle operated by the mall. The villa provided reasonably comfortable accommodation to our group. I liked the opportunity to open the balcony doors on both sides. This allowed a nice air flow from a bedroom across the living area. We didn't use the air-conditioning. The balcony was spacious and we liked sitting there with drinks at the end of the day. The whole area around the apartment is safe, comfortable, and pleasant. The seashore/beach is long and if you like walking and we felt safe while walking. The beach is nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay; we would be happy to come back.

The pool areas and restaurants were clean and grounds very pleasant. The food at restaurants was pretty good and all the staff were very friendly. the beach area was big and clean, with vendors close by if u wanted a cheap souvenir. Overall a good experience for the money.

Great location, they can do better on services.

The beach was beautiful ! There are restaurants in walking distance, with super markets, location was great !

1. No one came in to clean. Going to the beach brings back sand in the room and with no one to clean it makes it quite dirty. 2. The AC did not work, was very hot doing the night. I also don't like the fac t that we have to pay separately for Electricity. It should be included with the room price. 3. The bathroom water flows were very less and it took forever to even wash up.

Nice staying

We had nice experience with this hotel. In advance we were informed about additional discount so we could afford extra dining out. Villa was much more bigger then pictured. Our first emotion was woooow ! Beach is clean and no seaweed . Pool is not big but not overcrowded so its was nice.

Excellent location especially for Solo Traveler

The apartment was very cute and extremely close to the beach. You are walking distance from several restaurants and bars as well as little shopping markets. I felt very safe walking through the Los Corrales neighborhood alone. I was a solo female traveler and even leaving a bar at night I felt safe. The breakfast that was included was also very delicious located in a cute Cozy Cafe. I would definitely stay here again

The water pressure in the shower was not that great. It also would have been nice to not have to pay separately for the electricity. But for the rate that I pay and considering I didn't use much AC it was definitely a great deal.

The location was great on the beach.

The location was great on the beach. Breakfast at Joy was wonderful. New towels every day was great. Some girls in the staff were very helpful. It was great to have fresh water all days. Great to have good restaurants just close. Restaurant and bar SOLIS on the beach was a favourite! Great to have sunbeds for free.

One of the girls in the staff was not polite and could only speak Russian.She had to handel the check-in and it was not good.The AC did not work and she promised to get it fixed.It did not work for one week.We asked for information about buses and other information but she could not answer.She said she had worked for one month only. The cleaning of the flat was not good.There was no possibility to use the kitchen because it was dirty.
